Mark Chaplin
Senior Research Consultant, ISF - Information Security Forum
Mark is an information risk management professional with over 19 years of experience in IT and information security. He has worked in diverse roles from consultancy and implementation to information security governance and strategy for global blue-chip organisations. Prior to joining the ISF Mark was responsible for information security at a multinational FTSE 250 company. He believes in a risk-based, business-oriented approach to managing information risk, while complying with the requirements of internal standards, contracts, regulation and legislation. Mark runs global research projects for the ISF on all aspects of information security, including governance, standards, risk management and compliance. Mark is also responsible for delivering the ISF’s Standard of Good Practice for Information Security.

Norbert Moeren
CISO, Merck KGaA
Norbert Moeren joined Merck KGaA Darmstadt in October 2001. In his current position he is in charge of maintaining the ISO 27001 certified Corporate Information Security management system, e.g. maintaining information security policies, providing awareness trainings and security audits. Beside the security knowledge he is experienced in aligning IT security with IT risk management, IT compliance, IT Quality management and embedding in an overall IT Governance program.

Richard Hensen CISSP
Systems Engineer Benelux & Nordics, Tripwire 14 years of experience have brought Richard a wealth of knowledge in the compliancy and security arena. After working for KPN Telecom as a data communication specialist, he moved to Kender Thijssen to become a security specialist. Axent (later acquired by Symantec) was his next step to become a compliancy specialist. Richard has in-depth knowledge of intrusion prevention, event and incident management, change management and security and compliancy management.

Kira Newton
Security Operations Manager, Centrica Plc
Kira joined Centrica six years ago as a Desktop Technician and remained in this role for 3 years before moving into Information Risk. In her current role as Security Operations Manager Kira is responsible for a team of people carrying out operational activities to ensure Centrica’s information is secure. The team’s focus is on Firewall change assessment, Privileged Access Management, Information Security Incident Management and Event Logging & Monitoring.

Wim Hafkamp
Chairman of FI-ISAC.NL
Wim is Chairman of the dutch FI-ISAC and initiator of a European equivalent. FI-ISAC.NL, a public-private partnership between Dutch banks and government agencies, aims to prevent cybercrime losses by exchanging lessons learnt on incidents and identified vulnerabilities. Within Rabobank Wim is responsible for the co-ordination of Information Risk Management Strategies and Policies. Besides his work for the FI-ISAC community he is member of leading information security working groups like the Permanent Stakeholders Group of ENISA, the information security workgroup of the Confederation of the Netherlands Industry and Employers, the IT Audit Examination Committee of the University of Amsterdam and a primary contact for the information security forums I-4 and ISF.

Jaya Baloo
Unified Communications and Lawful Interception Specialist at ISACA
Jaya Baloo has been working internationally in Information Security for twelve years. Her focus has been on secure network architecture design, and she has completed projects ranging from Lawful Interception, Deep Packet Inspection, and VoIP Security to designing national MPLS infrastructures and ISP architectures. She has worked for a number of telecom providers, KPN and France Telecom among others, and currently works for Verizon Business in the Netherlands where she specializes in Unified Communications and Lawful Interception.

Ben Krutzen holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics, and has worked at Imperial College, London. He joined Shell in 1991, and served in several areas, including research, IT management and regulatory compliance.

Benelux Security Leader, IBM
Jeroen Kroon is member of the Worldwide IBM Security Solutions Tiger Team for the Benelux. His mission is to maximize the capture of IBM opportunity in the security market by offering the entire set of IBM security capabilities, spanning software, hardware and services, represented in the IBM Security Framework. Jeroen worked in the past for different other information security specialized companies such as Cybertrust. His personnel experience covers most of all IT security aspects such as managed services, identity management or consulting. Within IBM he is also co-writer of different IBM certifications exams that helps customers and IBM business partners to be certified on their security skills.

Secretary General at ICT Norway
Per Morten Hoff (54 years old) is Secretary General in ICT-Norway. Mr. Hoff is educated at the University of Oslo within Political Science. Has been a member of the Norwegian Government´s e-Norway Forum for the last 10 years. And have for 3 periods been an executive board member of EICTA - now Digital Europe. Mr. Hoff has been both speaker and moderator at the two last OECD Minister conferences on Green IT.

Thom Schiltmans is currently working as Sector IT Security manager at Philips Healthcare. He is responsible for keeping all applications and related infrastructure used on an acceptable risk level and compliant to the different laws and regulations that Philips Healthcare has to comply to. He is also part of the management of the professional association on Information Security (PVIB – Platform voor Informatiebeveiliging). Lately he has only acting in a management positions setting up and deploying IT (Security) Organizations. His main areas of expertise are: business and IT continuity, CERT, Information Security, Compliance and Governance, and (Enterprise) IT Risk management.

Sven has extensive experience in Auditing IT in the Banking Sector. Sven headed the IT Audit Projects for Dresdner Kleinwort and Dresdner Bank for several years and now he holds the position of Head of IT Infrastructure and IT for the Commerzbank group. Having worked for over 15 years in the area Sven has specialized in IT Audit for Applications, infrastructure, general IT controls, IT governance, information security, data protection, Sarbanes Oxley act compliance.

David Wilde
Chief Information Officer, Westminster City Council
Currently CIO for Westminster City Council, David is driving forward an exciting new ICT strategy based on the principles of customer centric service delivery, a zero infrastructure technology environment and transformational change. David was previously CIO at the London Borough of Waltham Forest, with responsibility for the Council’s access to services strategy, transforming service delivery, all ICT and the Project and Programme management profession. Prior to that David was Head of e-Business and Head of Internal and Electronic Communications for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM), where he was responsible for development and delivery the ICT strategy and service management, e-government and internal and electronic communications strategies and operations. He also ran Internet service development and delivery for the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA) and worked on Schools capital policy in the Department for Education and Employment, including the New Deal for Schools programme.
